Lead Generation

Are you using The 5 C’s for building your home business?

Do you know the 5 C’s for building your home business?

Are you using The 5 C's for building your home business, home business, home based business, online marketing, marketing

When you follow these 5 C’s you are almost guaranteed to build a successful home business

It doesn’t matter what kind of home business you have if you follow these 5 C’s you will start to get results and build your brand.

Collect:

The first step in building your home business is to start to collect names and contact information. Basically it’s building your list. Now you can do this offline with people that you know or meet through networking. Everyone has this list and it is the best place to start because people on this list already know, like, and trust you. While you are going through this list you should also be adding to people who can see what you are doing. So this could be getting followers on Twitter, YouTube subscribers, email contacts, Facebook friends, likes on your Facebook fan page, and other social media networks. The more eyeballs you have that can see what you are doing the better.

Capture:

This next step is to have some type of way to capture people’s information. This could be having an opt in page where you give away free training. You could also just simply ask people if they want to be on your marketing newsletter list, or whatever kind of value content you put in the marketplace. The best way is going to be with some type of free content or discount or training etc., that you give away in exchange for a name and email and sometimes phone number.

Communicate:

This step is focused on communicating content. So this should be something of value for people that have joined your list, or that are your followers. So determine what your target market’s struggles are and then provide them value based content around that. It could be motivational posts, positive quotes, training around your niche, something funny, basically anything that can help them. You should follow the 80/20 rule if not even 90/10 rule of sending out 80-90 % value and then only 10% something that is promotional for you, for example selling a product or service etc. Doing this helps build trust and a relationship with your audience.

Close:

This step just goes along with the 80/20 rule and will happen naturally. As people opt in to your training and offers and simply putting out content to buy something or information on services you have to offer a percentage of those people on your list will want to take advantage of it. You don’t really try to hard to close these prospects because they will reach out to you and you just simply help them get what they want at that point. This is the power of following the 5 C’s. It attracts prospects and customers to you.

Consistency:

This final step is just like it says, consistency. If you follow these 4 C’s but aren’t consistent with it people will lose interest and stop plugging into what you have. You can decide how much you are going to put content out but you should be doing weekly at a minimum. A lot of top people recommend doing something daily however.

Your content could be something like a positive quote at the minimum up to a full blog post like this. Again though it’s all about consistency doing a video for a week after a few years that is hundreds of little billboards out in the market for you. Even if your 300 plus videos got 1 view a day that’s 300 exposures to you and your brand and what you have to offer every day. This is why consistency is the key step of the 5 C’s.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful 10k a month income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen.  This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you won’t make it very far. Network Marketing is a numbers game, and without the Numbers and Leads you have no business. If you don’t already have a High Volume Lead Generating System for Your Business….
