Do you have a daily activity goal?
Everyone wants better results in their business right? Well most people get addicted to the outcomes of their activities and when the immediate results aren’t exactly what they want they end up giving up. Having a daily activity goal can help you stay on track.
Don’t get addicted to the outcome and focus on your daily activity goal
Unfortunately, this actually keeps most people from the results they want. Instead of taking their current results with a grain of salt and just keep moving forward, they quit before the results come after their consistent activity. This is why having a daily activity goal is so important.
You really should have a daily activity goal rather than a daily results goal. Make it a habit of focusing on the right income producing activities and when you do that consistently the results work themselves out on their own. For example you could worry about the ups and downs of each day or you can stay on the line with consistent activities and over the long term your results will come.
There are many days where I don’t get the exact results I was hoping for, but I understand that if I consistently planted enough seeds through the right income producing activities the results will come in due time. For example I make it a habit to generate at least 10 new leads a day. That also is outside of the passive leads that I generate on auto pilot or through ads. I want to generate at least 10 leads through the active prospecting activities that I do.
Any other leads I happen to generate passively are just bonus and will help get results even faster. The key is to decide on some sort of daily activity goal that is attainable and something you can stay consistent with every day. Don’t choose something so lofty that you aren’t able to do it on a consistent basis.
I’d rather have someone generate 2 quality leads a day and prospect 5 people every day than have someone prospect 100 people in one day and not do anything in their business for months. Consistent daily habits that grow your business are far more important that on small burst of massive activity. So set yourself a daily activity goal, and stick to it and your results will start to multiply!
