Are you focused on your problems or where you are going?
A common thing people struggle with is focusing on their problems alone and not on where they are going.
Ask yourself if you are focused on the goal or the obstacles in route to it
It’s still a great question to ask yourself though as well in the fact that you may be doing this to yourself and it could be one of the reasons you aren’t achieving the results you desire.
Think about reaching your goals like you are driving your car. You know your end destination but there may be detours along the way. These are just obstacles you must work through in route to your destination and goal.
For example if you were driving from New York to California and 30 minutes in there was an exit ramp closed, would you turn around and give up on your trip? Of course not, you would simply go around it. It may take longer but there isn’t doubt in your mind you will get there. It should be the same way while building your business.
Stop focusing on every little problem and keep moving forward
Another common thing people do is when a problem or setback does happen they completely get off track and soley focus on the problem and not on their goal.
It’s just like when you are driving and a bug hits your windshield. When that happens do you stop driving and stare at the bug only and run yourself off the road?
No, it startels you for a second and then you keep moving forward. If you didn’t you would crash. Unfortunately too many people stay looking at the bug on the windshield in their life and continue to crash instead of continuing to move forward and eventually reach their goal.
So next time you are faced with a problem keep moving forward towards your goal and stop staring at the bug or that’s all you will get for the rest of your journey.
