Are you frustrated in your work life? Do you dream of bigger plans and goals for yourself and find that your job or career just isn’t what you want it to be? Do you wish for more freedom and flexibility in your life? Many people face these challenges in their work life and are simply looking for a way out. Many think that starting their own business is the way to go and in my opinion I would completely agree. The real question is though is now the right time for YOU to start a business? As the magic 8 ball would say ‘all signs point to yes’.
There is never really a perfect time to start a business, many people want all of the stars to align and everything to be just right when they start a business. If you are waiting for all the lights to be green before you start on your journey of owning a business I’ll be honest with you upfront, that it will never be perfect. However that is why many years ago I began my own business journey in Network marketing and direct marketing. Many experts like Donald Trump, Robert Kiyosaki, believe that network marketing is the best way for the average person to get ahead and start a part time business. Now you don’t have to do network marketing but the same principles apply to any small business or home business you could start.
One main concept I would like to stress is that with a part time business you can still work a job to pay your bills, but at the same time you can build your business to build your future fortune. It never is about how much time you have, it is about how effective you are with your time. This is doubly true in network marketing because you can also leverage your efforts and not just have you, yourself at work but you can also build a team of people and all work towards a common goal and leverage your time.
If you are not sure what type of business you want to get into, I would encourage you to start branding yourself. Make a facebook fan page for yourself and start building your contacts and your image as a leader in your industry. Your business will only grow as much as you do, so start working on yourself and get into personal development. Personal development will help you become the person you need to become to be a leader in any type of business endeavor you decide to get into. Also if you decide owning a business isn’t for you, the personal development you do can help you in your career outside of owning a business.
There are also many tax advantages to owning your own business and many people can save hundreds if not thousands on their taxes just by having a home business. Check with your local tax specialist to find out more on how to properly use the tax advantages but it is just another great reason to start a business today rather than wait. There are many more reasons to start your own business today rather than waiting for the ‘perfect’ time but these are a few of my favorites and why many years ago I decided to get started in a network marketing business and get the ball rolling on my entrepreneurial career.
