Knowing Your Sales Ratios and Properly Using the Law of Averages
Most people when they are starting off in their business have yet to understand anything about the law of averages or knowing what their sales ratios are. Basically what your sales ratios are is how many people you have to show to get someone started in your business. Well one of my favorite mlm recruiting secrets is the idea of knowing your sales ratios and using the law of averages to your advantage. The first key to this is to keep track of how many people you show and how many people get started out of those that you show. One of the mlm recruiting secrets I use every day is the concept that what gets measured gets done, if you don’t keep score you can’t win. The great thing about sales ratios is that they can improve, if you work on your skills and keep using the law of averages you can win. As the great Jim Rohn said, “you can make up in numbers what you lack in skill” This doesn’t mean you should only focus on numbers, but that if you aren’t very good in the beginning it’s ok and you can still be successful. When you work on your skills and personal development your sales ratios will go up and then the law of averages gets way more fun! Another one of my mlm recruiting secrets is that once you know your sales ratios the business becomes more fun and the “no’s” become less painful. It doesn’t matter how successful you become you still get the “no’s” however when you know your sales ratios and use the law of averages you can simply plan that the “no’s” always work out to eventually getting a yes.
