Who should you be working with in your home business

One thing you will encounter when you are building your home business is people who’s ego is bigger than their bank account.

Knowing who you should be working with when you are building a home business will save you a lot of time and frustration

You want to spend time with people who deserve it not people who need it. Another group of people you want to avoid is those that have a huge ego but a little bank account. So for example you may have a friend that you know is struggling and when you offer them a solution through your business, they say they are crushing it.

Another time this happens is when you are reaching out to people online. There is a right way and a wrong way to build your business through social media, and most people do it wrong. For example, being a pitch monster and constantly posting links and telling people how awesome your business is and oh here’s the link to get started doesn’t work.

However sometimes you try and help these people and teach them how to really build a successful business and they will tell you they are getting tons of leads and signing up a bunch of people all the time, or that they are a top earner in their company. Obviously that isn’t the case, but they try and cover their lack of success with their ego.

Sort don’t sell and just wish these people luck in their business or current situation

With these people who’s ego is bigger than their bank account it’s best to just leave them in their foolish ways. They are where they are at for a reason and if they want to continue to bluff people with their ego and lack of results let them.

A great piece of advice I heard long ago is that you can’t save them all. Some people desperately need your opportunity, or coaching, or training, or products or service, but if they are too stubborn to admit it they get to keep their results.

Your job is to just show people and not try and convince them, obviously share your passion, but don’t beg people to join your business or team. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. If your prospect is a part of the ITC club (I’m too cool) just move on.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful 10k a month income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen.  This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you won’t make it very far. Network Marketing is a numbers game, and without the Numbers and Leads you have no business. If you don’t already have a High Volume Lead Generating System for your business….
