Blogging can be a really great strategy and lead generation technique, but in my opinion it belongs in the engaging your audience and selling to your audience category.

How to make money blogging should be focused on great value based content, but then making sure a big audience sees it. If you have amazing content but no one sees it, it won’t really do much in the way of lead generation or making money.
Driving traffic is another essential part of how to make money blogging, but you need to have a converting offer first, before you drive traffic to your blog.
For example a lot of people struggle with online marketing because they are in pitch fest and all they do is spam their links for people to buy.
When you create valuable content that your target market can benefit from, and then from that blog post, lead into an offer you will get much better results.
When in doubt of how to make money blogging, lead with more value that benefits your target market. People do business with those that they know like and trust, and immediately pitching without leading with value can destroy that trust.
