Do You Take Advice From The Right People?
Unfortunately all too often a lot of people new to building a home business take advice from the wrong people and listen to people in their lives who have little to no success nor the lifestyle they want.
There are 3 essential rules for success in a home business: Do you follow them?
The 3 main rules for success in a home business, or anything in life for that matter are Pay Attention, Get Excited, and Never Quit. The one we are talking about today is focused on Pay Attention.
When you don’t pay attention to the right people you are setting yourself up for failure. Most people when they start a new home business don’t have any experience in the industry and therefore have a new skill set and learning curve to go through.
Unfortunately instead of paying attention to the people who have created results and success they listen to the opinion of people who don’t have the success or results in their life that they are looking to achieve. You need to pay attention to the people who have what you want and to people that have a vested interest in your success.
One of the fastest ways to create success in anything is the concept of matching and modeling find someone who has what you want, and do what they do, and you can get what they’ve got.
This holds especially true when you are building a home business. There is a system and steps you can follow that result in success, if you are teachable and take the action steps required to win.
Are you taking advice form the negative voice in your head?
I find there are times when people are struggling to build their business and not getting results are often the most close minded, or they focus on their made up self limiting beliefs. All a belief is, is a lie you keep telling yourself over and over again.
These beLIEfs can either be lies that propel you toward success or keep you in mediocrity. Maybe your’re learning a new skill like building your business online, or prospecting, or communication skills, basically anything that you are required to learn or do to become successful…Are your beliefs supporting you or failing you?
All to often that little voice pops up in your head telling you why you can’t be successful. Maybe it’s you aren’t worthy, you aren’t a sales person, you don’t have the right network, you aren’t computer savvy, you aren’t a people person, you are overwhelmed, you aren’t the type of person to make a lot of money, blah blah blah.
One thing that separates the successful form the unsuccessful is the successful don’t listen to these thoughts and voices. They understand that if someone else has done it so can they. Success isn’t for the chosen few, it’s for the few that choose.
So next time you are frustrated or not where you want to be ask yourself if you are listening to the advice of your negative beLIEfs or negative opinions from people who don’t have what you want, or are you listening to the advice of people who have created the success you want and can help you get there…the choice is yours…
