Easy Prospecting Tips and How to Handle Rejection in Sales in your home business
Prospecting tips – Qualify before you present
Lets face it, no one likes rejection unfortunately it is a common part to any business or sales process. One of my personal favorite ways how to handle rejection in sales is to qualify my prospects, that way I won’t even get rejection in the first place.
A lot of rejection comes from when your prospect simply isn’t open or doesn’t want what you have, if you took a bit of time and asked a few questions up front you would either find that they don’t want what you have or they will tell you exactly why they will buy what you have.
So the first thing you can do is ask if people are open to what you have. For example ask if they are open to making more money, or saving on travel, or improving their health, etc, whatever your product and / or business opportunity can provide.
If they say no to that simple question you haven’t spent any time with them, and if they say no, you aren’t going to show them your presentation and the rejection won’t be bad at all. So one of the easiest prospecting tips I can tell you is to simply ask if they are open and pre-qualify your prospects.
