A major key to creating success in your business comes from consistency and using a goal setting tool like a focus board can be a great asset. Most people in network marketing don’t have any type of game plan or a system to create good daily habits for building their business. Without good goal setting tools it will be harder for you to stay on track in your business. What gets measured gets done.
You want to treat your business like a business, if you treat your business like a hobby it will pay you like a hobby, if you treat it like a business it will pay you like a business. Business track their results and numbers and have a proven system for that. A focus board will help you do that.
What are some other benefits from goal setting tools and a focus board?
A focus board can be a great way to keep track of people to follow up with in your home business. When you are showing a people everyday your prospects that you have to follow up with sometimes fall through the cracks. If you have a system like a focus board it will be easier to know who you have to follow up with and reach out to in your network marketing business.
The more goal setting tools and systems you have in place to keep you accountable the easier it will be to develop solid habits of being consistent when building your business. Using a focus board can also help you discover your sign up raitio for your home business. If you show ten people and get one started you have a ratio of 1/10. If you know this and you are keeping track of everyone you show, when you get no’s it isn’t going to be as frustrating, because you will know you are only X number of presentations away from your next sign up.
Using a focus board can help keep your spirits up because you will start to understand the law of averages as well and you will be able to see it first hand and can track it. Again the more you keep track and use goal setting tools the easier it will be to stay consistent and focused in your business.
