If you ever get frustrated when you sign someone up in your team and they fizzle out or never do anything, change your mentality to having a triple sort mentality. You want to have a some will, some won’t, so what, next attitude when showing your business opportunity but at the same time apply that with people already in your business. It will save you a lot of frustration in the long run.

By using the triple sort it can help you determine who you should be working with and pouring your time and energy into. You should be working where you are deserved not where you are needed. Spending time with the wrong people can greatly take you off track of reaching your goals as well as cause a lot of frustration when you are building your business.

Home business success tips: What areas do you use the triple sort for?

Basically the first area you focus on with the triple sort is do they get started in your business. So many people, my self included when I was just getting started, focus on convincing someone who is really not interested. When you are prospecting for people to work with you in your team, you want excited people who want to work with you. Having to convince someone from the very beginning will lead you to have to convince them their whole career and those are the people you just don’t want to work with.

The next sort is will your new business partner do anything. A lot of people get started in a home business or network marketing and are super excited, but then they never take any action or talk to anyone about their business. Without action there can be no success. You will sometimes have reps who are always full of excuses and explanations of why they didn’t have anyone at the meeting, or why they didn’t talk to anyone etc. Leaders figure out a way. They know they have areas to work on and they strive to fix them, not whine and complain.

The third area of the triple sort is are they going to be a leader. So many people get in, talk to a few people, but never commit to becoming a leader. What does becoming a leader mean? It means going to the training, plugging into personal development, working on their skills, and making a decision to make their business work regardless of obstacles that may come their way. Some of these people might not get off to a fast start, but they will continue to incrementally improve and continue to take action, and in my experience these are the people who win in the long run in your business.
