It’s never about how much time you have it’s about how effective you are with your time and how you leverage yourself while building your part time business
One key way how to be more productive is to master your skill set as quickly as possible. Often time people don’t work on themselves and work on their skill sets. I know one big difference for me was when I committed to personal development and working on myself and my skill set. The best way I know of to take your part time business to the next level is to invest in yourself and your skills. I’ve found that plugging into your company events and learning and taking courses from other leaders in the industry was one of the best ways to cut through the learning curve for me and my team. The more you can learn from someone who has what you want the faster you can get their, and big company events are the best way to get in contact and learn from those leaders.
Focus on learning as well as action in your part time business, but do it at the optimal times
One mistake that I sometimes fell into and I also see a lot of people make is they put either too much emphasis on personal growth and development, or they do it at the wrong time. Again personal development and working on your skills and mindset are crucial to creating success in a part time business, however you should be doing that during off times when you can’t be prospecting and taking action to grow your business. For example you probably won’t get the best results calling and prospecting people in the middle of the night or super early morning before work or school, so these times could be great to be reading personal development, or working on your skills. However doing this during prime presenting time from around 7-9pm when most people are off of work is probably not the best time to be working on that when you could be meeting with people to show them your business.
