How to do a great about me section for your business
One area that home business owners tend to struggle with is their about me section and instead of being a compelling piece that attracts people to them it turns into a pitch fest.
Your about me section should be more about “me too’s” that “so what’s”
When you write your about me section on your various sites you want people to relate to you and your story. You should focus on having statements that are relate-able not being pitchy.
Too many times people have their bio or about me section filled with xyz company is the greatest and the products are the best etc.
You really want to just share your struggles, things you overcame, and your “why” for building your business.
People care more about why you are doing your business than what your business is
When you lead with why you will create far more feelings of “me too” than anything else you could do. Doing this will cause people to think about their reasons for building a business and why they would want to do what you have done.
You can quickly build rapport and attract people to you by being relate-able and vulnerable and sharing your journey towards the success you have achieved. This is far better than telling people how awesome you are and throwing links at someone.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful full time income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen. This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you won’t make it very far.
