Have you ever been in the situation where someone asks you what you do and maybe you have a home business or you’re in network marketing and you have been at a loss for words? Well this post is about sales training for an effective sales technique you can use in that exact situation.
Most of the time when we stumble around we don’t sound professional, and it comes off awkward, or the opposite end of the spectrum is being to aggressive and pushy and trying to hard pitch the person right on the spot. Your goal is to have a natural conversation where if the person qualifies or is interested they will ask you more and attract them to you.
Sales training tips: your sales technique and conversation should focus around a problem you help people with
A great sales technique you can use is to say lead with a problem and say something like well you know how most people struggle with weight gain around the holidays? Well what I do is help people lose weight easily after the holidays and reach their new years resolutions.
Your conversation should focus on “you know how” and “well what i do” When you lead off in this way you are basically setting up the person to naturally ask more about what you do. Now this obviously isn’t the only sales technique you can use to generate interest in your business, and if they don’t jump on your business right then it doesn’t mean they aren’t a prospect any more, but it can be an easy way to start generating interest.
