What separates the successful from the unsuccessful
Successful people have 24 hours in a day and so do people who are unsuccessful, there are a few key differences that separate the two. Many of these differences are very subtle and don’t take too much effort to make the switch for yourself and make it in the successful category. One key difference I have found over the years is that successful people focus on seeing an opportunity with every difficulty or situation and unsuccessful people simply focus on the obstacles with every difficulty or situation they face.
One instance is successful people and unsuccessful people differentiate how they see problems. Unsuccessful people see it as just another thing that went wrong in their life, how the world is against them and take a victim stand point on the issue. Successful people however look at a problem as an opportunity for growth. Successful people see problems as a chance to grow and a challenge to overcome. Successful people go into a situation or obstacle and have a “what can I learn” attitude going in. They look to improve their skills or character by learning something from a difficult situation in order to make themselves better.
Another time this often happens is when they are doing something that would better their life. For example, attending a seminar, taking a course, buying some type of training or book to improve their skills. Unsuccessful people only see the cost of the course or how much time going to that event will cost them, or the party they can’t attend, or family event they will miss out on. Unsuccessful people focus on the short term gratification mindset when they have an opportunity in front of them. They look at the cost of something rather than the opportunity or benefits they could get. Successful people have a short term sacrifice for a long term gain mentality.
Successful people focus on what they have to gain. They see a course and look at the value it could bring to their business or life. They see the new skills they could learn simply by attending a course. Successful people have a match and model mindset and see how learning from someone who has achieved what they want even if it costs money will far outweigh the cost to attend such an event. They focus on the opportunity and what they have to learn or gain by spending that money and look at the benefits rather than only seeing the cost or obstacle in the opportunity.
I guarantee if you go into life with an attitude of trying to find the opportunity in every difficulty you will create much more success in your personal and business life. If you can focus on constantly growing and bettering yourself by trying to learn something from each setback or mistake you will set yourself apart from the pack. It might not happen overnight but you will shift from the unsuccessful crowd to the successful one and it will only be a matter of time until you can become a top person in your field.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful 10k a month income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen. This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you wont make it very far. Network Marketing is a numbers game, and without the Numbers and Leads you have no business. If you don’t already have a High Volume Lead Generating System for Your Business….
