You Need to Avoid this Crucial Self Sabotaging Behavior in your Network Marketing Business
The phone is your friend if you use it right, you maybe doing this self sabotaging behavior and not know it
It’s unfortunate but most people that start a network marketing business are often lazy and stay in their comfort zone doing things that seem easier, but it actually this is a self sabotaging behavior that will keep you from getting better results. In my experience there is a right way and a wrong way to use your phone. Most people are fearful of picking up the phone and talking to people. Often times it’s because they don’t know what to say and how to properly invite people to look at their network marketing business. If you haven’t done it yet, be sure to download my free audio training on how to prospect, 14 Proven Keys To Inviting for your Network Marketing Business here.
The easy route isn’t always best, you may set yourself up for self sabotage by doing that in your network marketing business
With today’s technology it is sometimes easier to simply send a link to your presentation or just chat through text or on facebook, however there are a time and place to do this, and if you are doing it at the wrong time you could be doing this self sabotaging behavior. Text messaging and is great for setting the appointment but beyond that you could be setting yourself up for failure. If you rely 100% on using a text message and never get on the phone it will be way less likely that you will get the results you are looking for. People will have objections or questions or concerns when it comes to joining your business or buying your product. Most people are lazy and will not explain their objections or questions in regards to your opportunity over a text they will simply take the easy route and say they can’t do it, or they like it but now isn’t a good time, or I don’t have the money etc. You self sabotage yourself if you aren’t talking in person or on the phone because over text or a message or email etc. your prospect can simply just not respond, and at that point the person can just dodge your calls etc. and then it can get weird for the relationship you have with that person. So it may not be as easy but you will get far more results and get closure with your prospects of a yes or no, far more often if you are meeting up in person or talking on the phone when it comes to the actual presentation or closing process.
