3 effective closing questions you can use in network marketing

When you are closing in network marketing you want to close early and close often, so here are 3 effective closing questions you can use to build your network marketing business.

One thing that a lot of new reps struggle with is not asking closing questions and talking themselves out of a sale

A common mistake that people make after the presentation is trying to re-present and re-sell a prospect. Instead you should simply asking closing questions and helping them make a decision.  The longer you talk the more likely it will result in a think about it answer. That or some other objection like I need to talk to my spouse etc.

The first thing you should ask after the presentation is “what did you like best?” and depending on your company you can even give them an alternative close like “what did you like best? The nutrition or the money?” or “what did you like best? the travel or the money?” You never want to ask what did they think. When you do that you are setting yourself up for either something negative or something unrelated to them getting started.

Keep your closing questions short and sweet

A great closing question after what did you like best is “do you see an opportunity with us?” If someone is excited and likes what they see they are going to say yes to this question. Another case is yes, but and some concern or objection. If someone says no to this question you saved yourself a lot of time. You can just send them on their way at this point. Another option is to see if they are just interested in being a customer as well. However, if they say no to seeing an opportunity with you there isn’t any reason to try and convince them to join your business.

The next question you can ask is “can you afford to take advantage of it?” This basically will eliminate the money objection if they say yes to this question. Another bonus is most people don’t like to say they can’t afford something and they will try and figure out a way in their mind to make it happen. If your prospect truly wants to join your business they will figure out a way to get started.

The final question you should ask is “are you ready to get started?” Pretty simple but the top reason people don’t get started in your business is they are never actually asked to get stared. You should try and ask people to get started multiple times. It takes the average person being asked anywhere from 3 to 7 times to do something before they get started. So any time you answer a question or handle an objection ask them if they are ready to join.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful 10k a month income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen.  This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you wont make it very far.
