Be Authentic in your Network Marketing Recruiting

No one likes it when you try and be sneaky in your Network Marketing Recruiting

One key to effective network marketing recruiting in warm market recruiting or cold market recruiting is to be authentic. Don’t try and beat around the bush or try and build fake rapport. Obviously you want to build a relationship and have rapport with someone you can help with your business, but the idea is that you shouldn’t be fake about it. I personally try and be direct with my invitations and see if people are open to my business. That is what I feel should always be the first step. If someone is open, great, move forward and then get to know them and build rapport in the process of helping them. I think a lot of times people make the mistake of building fake rapport first and then in a slick manner try and pitch their opportunity or product. When you do this it comes off as very fake and all the rapport you built will seem like a sham. Be authentic in your network marketing recruiting and ask if they are open to something extra. You can even say that you know you haven’t talked for a while and we should definitely catch up soon, but the reason I’m reaching out is that I remember you were xyz (Fill in something positive you remember about them) and I thought pretty highly of you and I was just curious if you might be open to something extra if it didn’t interfere with your current work. If you would be great, if not, that’s totally cool too. I just remembered you were one of the sharpest people from xyz (high school, college, old workplace, the gym) however you were in contact previously. Be genuine and only say something that’s real for you and your situation with your relationship with that prospect. The more you can be authentic with your network marketing recruiting the better results you will have and your prospects will feel far more comfortable with you and appreciate you being direct and to the point.
