Let’s face it prospecting your warm market can be intimidating even for people that have been in the industry for a long time. If you know how to prospect in network marketing it can take some of the stress off. Most people are scared of rejection and no one really likes it, however if you change how you prospect in network marketing it won’t really be that bad. The best way I’ve found is to ask if people are open, if how you prospect is focused around seeing if people are open you will be presenting to more qualified prospects. Plus you won’t really feel awkward showing people your business because if they say they are open the obviously want to see what you have.

How to prospect in network marketing – Are you selling or sorting?

There is a right way and a wrong way to prospect in network marketing. Most people when they are new think that they should be selling people to try and join, however what you should be doing is sorting. When you show people correctly they should see your presentation for what it really is and then they are either going to be in or out. When you have great products, that aspect should already be a no brainer, then with the business side you should just be sorting through people to find the ones that want to do it and that are coachable and teachable. How to prospect in network marketing comes down to just asking. If you look at it like being a waiter and asking if that person wants to get dessert. Some people are going to be full and not want any, in that situation you wouldn’t beat yourself up about asking you just do it. Then some people order, some don’t, it’s the same concept when prospecting your warm market. Some will want to do it, some won’t your job is only to ask.
