The first thing you want to start doing is branding yourself and building a personal brand. People really join other people not so much the business they are in. When you focus on developing yourself and your brand you will start to attract people to you.

A common mistake people make is that they brand their company instead of branding themselves. You could be in xyz juice company and all you do is post about how great your company and products are. It will definitely help more people to know about your company but you come off as a spammer.

There is active prospecting and passive lead generation. If you want to get the best results in your company then you should be doing a combo of both. Unfortunately most people hear about passive lead generation and they abandon all active prospecting.

This is the wrong move only because passive lead generation takes time to build. In my experience it is best to combine both because you are more in control of your results through active prospecting.

Lead generation training: How to attract leads to you is like putting out billboards

Along with active prospecting you should be putting out value based content. This strategy works in whatever industry you are in. When you put out valuable content that benefits your target market you can start to build a following.

People do business with those they know like and trust. As you position yourself as a person of value people will start to like you and trust you because you helped them. Just like with your relationships you develop offline in “real life”. Every piece of content is like another billboard you put out advertising you in the market place.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful 10k a month income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen.  This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you won’t make it very far. Network Marketing is a numbers game, and without the Numbers and Leads you have no business. If you don’t already have a High Volume Lead Generating System for your business….
