Persistence Beats Resistance The Key To Success In Your Business

Everyone faces challenges while trying to create success in their business. Whether you succeed or not often comes down to if you are committed to your success or not. When you face challenges in your business remember that persistence beats resistance. You need to keep moving forward and continue to be committed to your success even when times are tough. In this post you’ll learn to master the concept of persistence beats resistance and using it to take your business to the next level.

Having discipline and being committed to your success

Are you committed to your success? The reality is that leadership and committing to your goals is tough. Often you aren’t going to feel like being disciplined every day, but that is what it takes to succeed at a high level in your business.

This mindset of being disciplined also applies to really any aspect of your life you want to be successful in. Take weight loss for example, you aren’t always going to feel like eating healthy or working out, but that’s what it takes to lose weight. You have to be consistent with it, even when times get tough.

Understand that persistence beats resistance and that when you are disciplined, it can make life easier. When you take life easy, life will be hard, but when you do the hard stuff consistently, life will be easy.

One tip to help you stay disciplined is to take your most difficult task or thing you don’t want to do and do that first thing in the morning. For example, let’s say your top income-producing activity is to prospect, 15 people, each day.

The longer you delay that in your day the harder it is going to be. However, if you attack your day and do that first, you know your day was successful, no matter how the rest of your day goes. Stay committed to your success, and make discipline a part of your daily method of operation.

Persistence beats resistance when you are committed to your success and getting through your learning curve

Have you ever fell short of your goals? What did you do? Did you call it quits and throw in the towel or did you pick yourself up again and keep going? Well if you want to create massive success and you really are committed to your success, you need to pick yourself back up again and keep striving towards reaching your goals.

Basically everyone has times when they fail and feel like they are going nowhere. It’s at those times that you need to make the decision to move forward and understand that persistence beats resistance.

You will have a learning curve in whatever endeavor you are going through. It’s your decision to either succeed despite your learning curve or decide that you will succeed regardless of how long it takes.

For example, even though I’m a huge nerd, sometimes I get outwitted with technology. I was trying to upload some large videos and trying to figure out the best way to do it and was having a hard time.

Something that I thought would be a 20-minute task turned into a few hour ordeal. After watching several youtube videos and trial and error, I finally figured it out.

There were two options I had, I could have continued to believe that persistence beats resistance and kept moving forward until I figured out the problem, or I could have given up. It sounds easy to just move on, but then you never reach your goals.

When you make a decision to win and are committed to your success you do whatever it takes. Decide to persist until you succeed.

How does this “persistence beats resistance” mindset apply to your business?

Now you may be asking yourself how does this really apply to your business and reaching success? Well it completely does.

How often do you face challenges in your business be it someone telling you no, or making a mistake, or doing a horrible presentation? All the time most likely.

Be committed to your success and continue to work on despite the no’s, failures, and learning curve. You can choose to stay in your comfort zone and never really get the things you want out of life or do succeed at a high level.

Now by all means, if you are completely satisfied with everything in your life and you don’t want anything better than you are getting now, persistence is not for you. However if you still want more, or you know you could be doing better persist on.

You need to get re-committed to your success and start practicing the concept of persistence beats resistance.

Treat your business like a numbers game and use the persistence beats resistance philosophy

A staple in business and sales is that it is a numbers game. To succeed at a high level in sales, you need to get over your fear of rejection.

Rejection is a natural part of business and sales. The reality is that most people are not going to fit the mold of your ideal customer. This doesn’t mean that sales and business don’t work, you just need to accept that nos are a part of the process.

Using the law of averages takes the concept of persistence beats resistance and applies it to your business and sales. Unfortunately why people fail in network marketing and business is because they often quit at the first sign of failure.

To win at a high level in life, you need to be committed to your success and work past your failures.

Failure isn't the enemy, never trying is. Click To Tweet

Turning cold traffic into warm leads with a persistence beats resistance approach

Have you ever heard that in the sales process most people need to see and hear about your business at least 5-7 times before they buy? Most people think that every person they talk to is going to be a “laydown sale” and that’s not the case.

Especially people who are simply checking out your website for the first time. If you don’t have a method to capture a site visitor’s information and marketing strategy to remarket to them, you are going to miss out on a lot of potential sales.

Set up a lead generation system that captures your website traffic’s information and once they are on your list, you can reinforce your sales message. Now this doesn’t mean that every contact you have with someone should be a sales pitch, but you should try and develop a relationship with your leads.

By setting up an email list and followup email series, you can educate your leads and sell them on the benefits of doing business with you. This uses the concept of persistence beats resistance to transform cold traffic into warm leads.

Conclusion

Overall, success doesn’t happen easily for anyone. Those who create true success had to work for it. This requires overcoming challenges and being committed to your success.

If you are having trouble growing your business as fast as you would like, it might be time to adopt a persistence beats resistance mindset. Anything great isn’t achieved overnight.

Every worthwhile skill, business, or goal is going to have a learning curve associated with it. If you aren’t amazing at something the first time you try it, this doesn’t mean you should quit.

Get good at something worth getting good at, and accept you will need to persist if you want to win. Failure isn’t something to be avoided, it’s how you learn what actually works.

You will fail, and that’s ok. Just be sure that when you do fail, you fail forward and keep going towards the goals you want to reach.
