Are you Failing at Achieving your Goals? You Need to Adopt this Mindset when Setting Goals
Achieving your goals doesn’t have to be overwhelming, get into action when setting goals
If you ever feel stuck and aren’t achieving your goals fast enough or you keep setting goals but you don’t reach your goals, get into action. A favorite mindset of mine is to always be thinking action cures everything. If you fall short of numbers, action cures everything. You aren’t making the money you want? Action cures everything. Still at the same rank in your company another month in a row? Action cures everything.
Reaching your goals doesn’t happen overnight. Success doesn’t happen in a day it happens daily.
When achieving your goals it isn’t as important as how fast it happens keep your eyes on the prize and steadily be striving towards reaching your goals each day. Always make it a habit to be better today than you were yesterday. If you can always focus on constant never ending improvement you will start to see yourself start to reach your goals faster. Everyday make it a habit to read at least 10 pages of a good book, or take a part of a new training course, or listen to 15 minutes of a good audio training everyday. Often times people start setting goals and then look at other people and start comparing themselves and their results with theirs. Stop comparing yourself to others when setting goals, and achieving your goals, comparison is the thief of joy. Often times when you compare how fast you are reaching your goals to others, you aren’t accounting for the growth or struggles that other person has gone through to get to that point.
Life goals often are shadowed by the person you become in order to reach them
When you become so focused on only setting and achieving goals and forget about who you are becoming in the process, you are missing much of the greatness you receive when striving towards your life goals. Be sure that you enjoy the journey because that is almost 95% of what you haven when striving for goals. When you do finally start to hit major life goals, you will start to create more, but you will really appreciate the journey you took to get their and the person you became once you did as well. So whether it’s small daily goals, or major life goals, keep focused on taking action even if you don’t feel like it, and you will be reaching your goals faster than you could ever imagine.
