How to Duplicate and How to Build Leaders in Network Marketing

You want to have an effective system for how to duplicate and how to build leaders

How to Duplicate and How to Build Leaders in Network Marketing, duplication, duplication in network marketing, network marketing tips

There are 4 steps you want to use for how to duplicate and how to build leaders in network marketing. The 4 steps are Tell, Show, Watch, Go. The first step is to tell, so that’s basically telling your new team member about the system in place, where the training system is and telling them what they need to do to become successful. Unfortunately most people this is all that they do with their new team members, they think this is enough. If you have ever encountered the person who says something to the effect of here’s your kit, and good luck to you, now go figure it out, then you know what I am talking about. This strategy really results in a lot of your team quitting and people leaving the business before they will ever become successful. So telling is only the first step to go through for how to duplicate and how to build leaders in your team.

The second step “Show” for how to build leaders and how to duplicate is key

A lot of your new team members will be visual learners and what you tell them really won’t sink in until you show them how it’s done. This step you need to go with your new team members and basically hold their hand and show them how to do what you are telling them. This is where the hands on mentorship comes in. When you are building leaders it takes more time and more of an investment in those people to create results. However when you invest this time those people can start to take action on their own independently from you. So show them the proper way to invite, show them how to present, show them how to close, and show them how to train their new reps.

The third step of how to duplicate and how to build leaders is “watch”

You need to let your team members start to step up and take leadership on in the business. That could be having them do parts of the presentations and you doing the closing, or vice versa, having them step up and do introductions on conference calls, etc. Then you watch them do it to make sure they do it right and help them improve on things and get better etc.

The last step for how to duplicate and how to build leaders is “Go”

Now that you have watched your new member and know that they are capable of taking charge without you it’s time to “go” on to the next person and repeat the process. The great thing about these 4 steps is that you can be doing these with different team members at the same time to multiply your efforts. In addition you want to teach your new leader that it is time for them to “go” and do the same 4 steps with their new members that they are bringing in. Also “go” stands for “go to training”. You could be great in the business and be a rock star however if you want to build a large team independent from you it’s not about how good you are it’s about how good your team can be with or without you.
