I mentioned an email autoresponder above as an online marketing tool you should have and I’ll cover more reasons why. One major reason is that with an email autoresponder you can create massive leverage in your business.
One of the first things I talked about in this post that you need making money as a stay at home mom or dad was leverage and systems at work. An email autoresponder is one of the most powerful systems you can set up to market a business.
As I mentioned before if someone visits your website or sales page for the first time and they don’t buy, the likelihood that they return is almost non-existent. For this reason, you need a way to get their contact info and then create a system to turn them from a cold visitor to your site into a warm lead who will buy from you.
With a lead magnet, sales funnel system, email autoresponder, and a content marketing strategy, you can turn any home business into a full-time income and beyond. It does take some time to set up, but once it’s done it can work passively and generate income for your family on a 24/7 basis.

The only downside is that you don’t own the platform of YouTube as you do with a blog, but outside of that it has almost all of the same benefits and more.
Similar to blogging video marketing on YouTube lets you capitalize on SEO, it works for you 24/7, can be used to drive traffic, and you can monetize it. There are so many options including ad revenue that you can use as a method of how to make money as a stay at home mom or dad.
If you’re creative you could use it simply as an entertainment platform and build a YouTube channel to earn ad revenue. However, you can also use YouTube to make money from home in many other ways as well.

As you set up the right tools and systems in place to generate traffic, leads, and sales for your business, you’ll start to earn profits. From there you can start to put your profits to work for you in the form of advertising on Facebook to grow even faster.
Again there is only so much time in the day, which is already something you understand as a stay at home parent. For that reason, you’ll need ways to leverage your time, and when your business is profitable, advertising is a way to do that.
Plus once you learn how to run Facebook ads, you could even add that on as a service you do for others, to add yet another stream of income for yourself. Facebook ads can have a bit of a learning curve, so don’t jump in until you’re ready or it can cost you money.
