Networking tips: Always be networking
As the old saying goes, always be closing, the old motto for salesmen. You should always be aware of your surroundings and always be networking. One thing I always struggled with when I was new was the idea that I didn’t know anyone or that I had run out of my list or that I just didn’t have anyone to talk to. Well most of the time I did have people to talk to but I just wasn’t thinking about business networking when I was going through my daily life. One thing that people do is they go through their day without making a conscious effort of meeting new people and adding them to their list. One of the most important income producing activities for you is expanding and adding to your list on a consistent basis.
Business networking tips for out and about recruiting or selling
Another concept that can help in your business networking is to make a conscious effort to go to places where you can meet new people. So for example if you are hungry do you go out to eat at a fast food drive through or do you grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant or bar where you have a chance to have a conversation with someone that could end up being a future customer or business partner. Another key factor is knowing to ask the right questions. There is a proven system you can use to ask the right questions and direct a conversation towards finding out exactly why someone may be a fit for your business.
