Proof That You Don’t Need To Travel The Road To Business Success Alone

Starting your business venture is one of the most exciting things you’ll ever do. However, running a company is also very hard work. In truth, it’s far too much for one pair of hands. This can be discouraging for you and keep you from following your dreams. But you don’t have to face this battle alone. With the right support by your side, it is possible to achieve those goals.

Here are just a few examples that show how embracing outside help, from people and systems, could transform your venture for the better.  Teamwork makes the dream work.

Funding From Investors to maintain your business success

Finding capital for your business is one of the hardest challenges of all, especially as bank loans are hard to acquire. Private investments can come from investors or through crowdfunding activities.

Either way, financing the venture via outside support can be hugely beneficial. After all, in addition to the financial rewards, those people will provide advice and support as they will want the venture to succeed. Whatever stage of the journey you’re at, this can be a fantastic source of comfort.

Use Patreon to help crowd fund your business

There are a couple free options you can use to start bringing in income from investors and people that support your cause. One option is through a site called Patreon.

It allows people like artists, video creators, musicians and even business owners set up pages where fans can help donate or invest money support the business owners.

Some people are going to be raving fans and tribute money just because, while getting others support will require you to offer value to get them to become a patron of yours.

For example you could put together a giveaway of a company t-shirt when someone donates $10 a month.  Maybe at the $5 a month level you give away a branded wristband.

You can also have levels giving away things like your time, which is not going to cost you out of pocket money.  An example you might do could be a Google Hangout once a month with the $50 a month supporters.

Giving away something like an ebook that serves your target market could be another option as a way to bring on new patrons. If you aren’t sure where to begin with making an ebook, I’d recommend checking out this free training on how to make your first ebook!

The opportunities are really limitless for what you can give away for value. This strategy could be simple way to start bringing in crowdfunding money to help get your business rolling.

Productivity From Employees

The employees are probably the greatest asset at any business owner’s disposal. Assembling a team of great candidates that boast the personality traits to match the talent is vital.

Meanwhile, you should invest in your leadership skills. The ability to inspire them to work harder and treat clients in the best way will influence productivity far more than your direct work.

Many hands make light work, and you should not forget it for a second. The growth of the venture will soar.

Certainly focusing on personal development for yourself is key, but also make it a priority for your employees and team as well. Your business will only grow to the point the leaders in your organization do.

You becoming better and your team becoming better is essential for growth. If you are just getting started in personal development, or would like some other recommendations of good books, check out my post on top personal development books here.

Protection From Security Companies

As a business owner you’ll have areas of expertise that just aren’t something you are familiar with. Spending too much time in areas that are essential, but you have no background in can slow down the growth of your company.

If you are feeling this way about a part of your company, it may be a good time to outsource that part of your business. A common area that business owners outsource is security.

Protecting your physical, financial, and intellectual assets is a 24/7 battle. Consequently, the best solution is to seek outside help from a professional security firm.

Managed surveillance and deployment of security personnel doesn’t only ensure that you get the very best results. It additionally means that you can focus on the tasks at hand rather than feel distracted by the security issues. Neither ignoring the challenge or handling alone are the answer. Only outside help will do.

Automated Data Management

Data management, like security, is another common area many business owners tend to outsource. As a business owner you want to build a team of people who are great at areas you aren’t great at. Finding a company or team you can outsource to handle your data management may be one of those things you need to do as your business grows.

Data management sits at the heart of every modern business. Cloud managed services that boast automation can keep the business moving in the right direction on a 24/7 basis.

Moreover, it removes the threat of human error, which should prevent a number of potential issues. This provides peace of mind for your staff, employees, and self. Better still, streamlining the business in this manner will often reduce the associated running costs. This is great news for any business owner.

Marketing Through Affiliates

Spreading the word about your business and its products in an effective way can transform the business by generating sales. Then again, this needs to be done in an effective manner if you’re planning to drive the venture forward.

The use of affiliates can turn existing customers into your greatest marketing tool. Given that you only pay them based on the sales they bring, it’s the perfect option for your budget as well as your time. Why go it alone when you don’t need to?

Affiliate marketing could be a great option to start a business as well if you don’t yet have one. There are plenty of businesses and companies that would love more people promoting their products and services. Many pay top dollar to their top affiliates as well.

If you are looking to start promoting affiliate products yourself but don’t know where to start, Clickbank could be a great option. Clickbank is basically a whole database of various affiliate products you can promote.

What tools do you need to promote affiliate products

Now if you do want to start promoting affiliate products as a business, or even promote your existing products effectively the same way you would with affiliate products, you are going to need a few tools and systems in place to maximize your results.

Some tools you want to have effectively promote your business online I things like a blog,  sales funnel system, email autoresponder, and CRM as a foundation.

Your blog is really your hub where you are going to put all of your value-based content that you create.  While you’ll certainly promote your business on social media, you don’t necessarily own those platforms.

They can be an extremely powerful ways to promote your business and sell your products, thought you don’t control content forever. If you’d like to learn more about value of using a blog to build your business and make money through blogging check out my post on how to make money with blogging.

Generate leads and sales with these tools

With your blog and content hub in place, it’s time to set up other tools for your business. A sales funnel system should be the next thing that you set up for your business.

Many people will visit your website on a daily basis as your business grows. Unfortunately, a lot of businesses leave money on the table because they don’t capture those visitor’s information.

Some people have the option to join a newsletter list, which is a great start, but you should set up and lead magnet through a sales funnel system. This will allow you to capture visitors of your sites information.

Using a lead magnet is a much more effective strategy than only a newsletter. It’s actually giving away something your target market wants so you’ll get more leads.  Check on my post here on setting up a quality lead magnet to learn more.

With a sales funnel system in place and a quality lead magnet, you can generate leads through the visitors to your site. You can even start to sell products on automated basis.

This is very powerful, no matter what kind of business you have, but especially with affiliate marketing.  If you don’t yet have a sales funnel system in place for your business you may want to check out Clickfunnels as an option. Try it out for 14 days for free here!

Remarket to your leads through an email autoresponder

As you start to capture these leads you want to have a way to continue to re-market to them.  Most businesses have a person visit their website once and never return again.

With an email autoresponder, you can build a list of your target market and potential customers. From there you can continue to develop a relationship with them by providing value to your email list.

Most people don’t buy the very first time they see your offer. If all they do is come your website once and never return, the likelihood they will buy is very low.

However, when they are on your email list and you continue to provide value on an ongoing basis, when timing is right they will come back and buy from you.

An email autoresponder is a tool that can allow you to do this, and apply mass of leverage or your business. You can either have a team of people at work to help scale your business, or you can use systems at work to help you grow.

If you’d like to set up an email autoresponder I’d recommend checking out Aweber.  It’s low cost and a service I’ve used for years.  If you’d like to try it out you can get the first 30 days for free here.

Have a follow up system in place

Finally you also want a system to follow up with your leads on your email list. This is where a CRM or customer relationship manager comes into play.

Too many times business owners miss out sales because they don’t follow up effectively.  A CRM will help you follow up with the right people. This will lead to more sales and sign ups for your business.

Lots of business owners struggle because they spend way too much time with the wrong people.  A CRM can help you sort through your leads or potential customers that aren’t a good fit.

This will allow you to spend time on people that are actually interested in open what you have to offer.  When you do this, it allows you to make more sales by talking to less people.

If you’d like to learn more about the CRM that I use and recommend, click here.

Remember just because you’re in business for yourself doesn’t mean you are by yourself.  I recommend you use these ideas and tools in your business to maximize your results and avoid walking the road of success alone!
