Leadership

Would You Follow You?

Do you ever feel frustrated with your current results in your business and don’t seem to be experiencing the growth you want? If so a great question to ask yourself is would you follow you.

Would You Follow You, leadership, leadership development, leadership development coaching,

The speed of the leader determines the speed of the pack

If you aren’t where you want to be in your business the first thing to ask yourself is would you follow you. If the answer is no, this doesn’t mean that you can’t be successful, but it does mean that you might need to take a good look in the mirror and change what you are doing.

Are you the leader people are looking for and want to work with? Like the quote above says, the speed of the leader determines the speed of the pack. If you aren’t showing anyone your presentation, prospecting any new potential customers or team members, why do you think your new team members would either.

Network marketing is first and foremost a lead by example business, your main job as the leader is to prove that the system works. If you aren’t ever bringing in new business and team members to your organization how would anyone in your team think they could do it either?

How do you improve your leadership?

A key concept to focus on is that your business will only grow to the point that you do. So if you aren’t improving yourself and getting better your business probably won’t either.

A lot of the time people either ignore this part completely or they are on the other end of the spectrum and this is all that they do in their business. You need to have a combo of both personal development and action.

If all you do is just work on your skills, read books, go to training, and just become a professional meeting attender, nothing happens in your business. Massive action creates massive results, but develop your skills along side of that to get better results with your action.

The best way I’ve found over the years to dramatically increase my leadership and skills in the shortest amount of time has been by attending events. Attending events can drastically reduce your learning curve when it comes to leadership development and learning skill sets.

Instead of learning through trial and error or through the grapevine or bits and pieces through videos and audio training, events completely immerse you in the environment and surround yourself with other top earners in the business. This can dramatically increase your belief and skills in a rather short amount of time.

In addition to going yourself to event, you also want to make sure your team goes as well. Would you rather your team had to learn everything from you one on one or would you rather they learned from the top leaders in the industry all at once? Of course you would want the leveraged option of going to events.

Grow yourself and consistently take action towards your goals and your business will start to take off!
