Leadership

Are you showing up to your appointments?

It’s unfortunate that I need to say it but are you showing up for your appointments while you are building your home business…even when you don’t feel like it?

Are you showing up, showing up, leadership, leadership development

How you show up in anything is how you show up in everything

One thing that people who are struggling in their home business don’t seem to realize is that how they show up in one aspect of their life is usually how they show up in all aspects of life.

For example there has been times when I have been trying to help people reach their goals and build a successful business but they don’t show up for their appointments. Some of these people already have a business they are looking to improve, others are trying to start a business or make extra money for the first time.

Now obviously people not showing up for appointments is something you have to deal with as a leader and while you are building your business. This again brings me to the point of how you do anything is how you do everything.

Leaders follow through with their commitments and take action even when they don’t feel like it

The people who aren’t showing up for their appointments or are flaky also happen to be struggling in their business…shocking!

Here’s the thing, you aren’t always going to feel like showing up to a presentation, life gets in the way, you were up all night with you sick kids, you had a terrible day at work, you are exhausted from lack of sleep, it happens.

The thing that separates people who are successful and those who aren’t is that leaders show up even when they don’t feel like it. Showing up is half the battle if not more.

I can think of so many times in my career when I didn’t feel like sending another message to a prospect, getting on the phone to share my presentation, doing a 3 way call with a new team member just getting rolling, but I did it anyway.

If you are struggling take a good hard look at how you are showing up and it’s probably a pretty good indication of why you are getting the results you are getting in your business. So when in doubt ask yourself “are you showing up”.

I would realistically look at building a successful network marketing business as a 3-5 year project to build a successful full time income. Sure, some will get there faster, but the majority of people will take at least 3 years to be able to make that happen.  This means you will need to do “COLD MARKET RECRUITING” in addition to Warm Market Recruiting, AND you will need a high volume lead generating system or you won’t make it very far. Network Marketing is a numbers game, and without the Numbers and Leads you have no business. If you don’t already have a High Volume Lead Generating System for your business….
