Proven Keys to Expanding Your Network
When you are building a business a key factor is who do you know, so here are a few tips on how to increase your network.
Have you ever felt like you have ran out of people to talk to and don’t know how to expand your network?
Well there are a few simple steps you can take for expanding your network. If you are looking for how to increase your network one easy step is with social media. If you make an effort expanding your network by at least one person each day by the end of the year you would have 365 new people in your network, by the end of 3 years over a thousand people. You obviously don’t have to show every single person you meet your business or products but those people may know others that could be a good fit for your business as well.
If you can focus on expanding your network and making a connection with someone in each social network for example even if it’s just facebook, linkedin, and twitter that’s over 1000 people a year, not including what you are doing offline. Another great way how to increase your network is to join a gym. Just focus on having a conversation or even just saying hi to someone new at the gym each time you go, you will slowly start to build relationships after a few visits when you see the same people.
Again, not that you will need to show everyone of these people your business but you can at least add them to your funnel and if the circumstances are fitting you can introduce them to what you have to offer if it can help them. Most people struggle when it comes to expanding their network because they try and force a business transaction too quick vs just getting to know that person. If it works out to show them your business that’s great, if not, that’s great too.
