You Can’t Build a Company On Your Own

There’s a myth about entrepreneurship that has to be dispelled once and for all: it is not possible to build a successful company all on your own.

History and company narratives sometimes suggest that the big companies were the brainchild of one brilliant individual (such as Zuckerberg at Facebook, Gates at Microsoft, and so on).

This has never been true, and never will be. If you’re going to build a successful company, you need to work with other people and companies. Below, we take a look at some of the others you should bring on board if you want to be successful.

Build The Best Staff And Team

Whether you’re building a company or a network marketing business having the right staff in team is essential to your business success.

Sooner or later, you’ll need to hire employees if you’re going to take your business to the next level. But how easy it is to move forward will depend on the caliber of the people that you’re bringing on board.

Remember the more than you invest in your staff, the more that you’ll get in return. It’s worthwhile developing a hiring strategy that naturally funnels the best talent towards your business. You might have to pay a little bit more to secure their services, but it’ll be worth it.

Weather it is being applied to you, or your team, your business will only grow to the point that you do.  This means personal development and growth should be a backbone the success of your company.

You should instill in both your staff, or team, to work harder on themselves and they do on their job.  Obviously still work hard on your job, but understand as your employees and team become better, your company will as well.

Outsourced Work

Of course, while you’re still building your company, you won’t be able to hire an employee for every position. But that doesn’t mean that you have to do without someone to take care of a particular task.

Instead, you can outsource your work to a third-party company. There are countless jobs that they can do for you, including the more complex and time-consuming tasks.

You can perform a marketing agency search to find a company who will be able to take your digital marketing to the next level, for instance, or bring on board a third-party accountant so that your money is under control.

All the while, you’ll be able to focus on growing your business knowing that the important jobs are being taken care of.

Other Companies

Other companies are going to be hugely important to your development, in multiple ways. We’ve already seen above how they can be used to complete some of your most important jobs.

But you’ll also work with them on a mutually beneficial basis, such as when you work with companies who supply your products or materials.

And don’t forget that while you might sometimes wish there was no competition for your company, your rivals do often push you to be better tomorrow than you are today.

Comparing yourself to others can be demotivate you for a lot of people, so try not do that with other companies. Whether you can use other people and other companies success as a motivator it can be a great way to push you forward.

Look at it more like, if they can do it, you can do it.  Success in business and building a company is often just learning a skill set and taking consistent action.

With the right marketing strategy replace backup with consistent effort you can become successful.

Positive People Can Help Build A Company

It might seem like life is all work, work, work, especially in the early days of growing a company. But this isn’t true: you’re going to have plenty of downtime, and during those moments, you’re going to count your lucky stars that you’ve got friends and family around you.

It’s important to have people who aren’t directly connected to your business giving you support! You may also want to find a mentor, someone who has been where you are before; they’ll be able to offer invaluable advice for your business.

You become who you hang around,  surrounding yourself the right people make or break your company growth. To build small business takes mental toughness, consistent effort and energy.

As much as I hate the term “like-minded people” for prospecting, it still makes sense to find people like that maintain your mental toughness.

Hiring a coach is another option that could help you stay on track while you build your business online. A coach can give you an outside perspective I think of things you might not on your own.

Set up the right tools and systems to build your business online

One thing to keep in mind As you build a company, is that you can have people at work, systems that work, or combination of both.

The great part about systems at work as you build a company, is that you can start to scale your business in a big way without having a ton of staff or employees.

Systems at work give you the opportunity to automate portions of your business, and be more effective with your valuable time. As far as building your business is concerned, it’s never about how much time you have its how effective you are of your time.

Certainly outsourcing is one strategy, as is hiring employees, but also consider setting up systems to grow your business on autopilot.

One way to do this is through building an email list and sending up sales funnels to  build your business online.

Using an email list and email marketing to build your business online

The money is in the list. The bigger list you have and higher-quality list you have, the more opportunities you have bring in customers on autopilot.

The power of email marketing as a system to build your business online is it introduces a lot of leverage.

Why this is so powerful is because as your email list grows you can write one email, has the potential to reach thousands of people at once.

Imagine how long it would take to manually reach out to hundreds, or even several thousand people. You might be promoting a new webinar you were doing, or maybe a special offer you had coming up. Most likely that would take you hours and even potentially weeks to that.

With the proper email autoresponder set up, and email list in place, this could take you only a matter of minutes. As you continue to develop their relationship with that list,  it could turn into hundreds of thousands of dollars in sales in a matter of minutes.

Obviously it doesn’t happen overnight, but that’s the power of building a list that you have a great relationship with.  I highly recommended getting an email autoresponder. Then you should to begin building your list especially since you own it.

Build on social media, but also with something you own

Social media is great and certainly a place you want to spend some time on to build your online presence, but you don’t own it. Platforms may change, go out of style, start to cost advertising dollars for exposure, or even get shut down.

So as you build your brand on social media, be sure to funnel as many of those contacts onto your email list as well.

If you don’t yet have an email list set up, I’d recommend checking out Aweber. It’s a very low cost service and great if you are just getting started building an email list. If you’d like to try out Aweber and get your first 30 days for free, click here!
