This Infographic Proves Just How Affordable Learning Management Systems Can Be

If you’re a small business owner, then you’ve no doubt come across the term “learning management system” before. But what exactly is a learning management system? And how can you use one to benefit your company?

In essence, an LMS is a tool that enables you to efficiently and effectively deliver courses to your staff. The courses can be on anything, from how to market a product to safety training. It’s not the content of the LMS that makes them so valuable, however, but rather the convenience that they offer. Instead of having to hire an expensive external trainer to travel to your offices, all you need to do is sit an employee down at a computer terminal and then allow the training software to guide them through the learning experience.

Learning management software allows you to do all sorts of things, from setting exams to tracking performance. It’s all contained in the software itself, meaning that you don’t have to merge other learning systems which can be an administrative nightmare.

The main reason so many small business owners are interested in LMS software is that it enables them to train their staff at a much lower cost compared to traditional methods, putting them on a level playing field with the much larger competitors in their industry.

How much you pay, however, depends on the provider that you choose. Take a look at the following infographic. It shows the top 20 most affordable LMS software solutions on the market today, taking into account the features that they offer.

Will you use learning management systems in your business?

Whether you go with an LMS Software or not, Leadership development is a must

One common thread you’ll hear me talk about time and time again is that your success in business will only grow to the point that you and your organization do. Even if your business isn’t to the size of utilizing an LMS software yet you still want to make leadership development and learning a part of your team culture.

If you’re building a network marketing business, for example, you could spend time trying to recruit people that are already leaders and only focus on them, or you could help develop the people who do join your team into leaders.

One of my favorite sayings goes something like, you don’t just become a successful business owner, you have to become the person who is a successful business owner and you’ll get it. It’s a bit of a play on words, but you need to build up your skills to reach the goals you really want for your business.
