What Network Marketing Presentation Is The Best To Build Fast

Ever wondered what the best network marketing business presentation is to grow your business? A common misconception is that there is one network marketing presentation that will magically sign everyone up. There are advantages and disadvantages to each kind of network marketing presentation. However, more than the network marketing presentation itself, there are other factors that impact if someone signs up. In this post, you’ll learn the best network marketing presentation for each situation, and how to maximize your success with your network marketing business presentation.

Every kind of network marketing business presentation works some of the time

Here’s the thing, you really need to understand that you can’t say the wrong thing to the right person. The same thing applies that you can’t say the right thing to the wrong person.

Obviously, you can improve your skills in network marketing and abilities to improve your results and sign up ratio. However, you could have a solid network marketing business presentation and the prospect doesn’t join. At the same time, you could have a terrible business presentation and get results.

Improving your abilities and mastering the basics of network marketing should be a priority. However, when it comes to the business presentation more often than not, it’s more than just the presentation itself that determines the outcome.

Often it’s about who is presenting or sharing the program with the prospect and how the presentation came about, rather than the actual business presentation. You could use a pamphlet presentation, a video presentation, a live group meeting, a one on one, or two on one, and all have their own unique advantages and disadvantages.

We’ll cover that more further on as to which business presentation could work best for each prospect. Just understand that there isn’t a “one all be all” presentation that will have a 100% closing ratio.

Closing starts before the network marketing business presentation

A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that it is the network marketing business presentation that is the reason for their success. If you use the right business presentation then you will magically close more people.

The reality is that closing begins before the network marketing presentation even happens. The foundation of your success in network marketing is going to be how effective you are at inviting people to check out your business presentation.

Unfortunately a lot of people who fail in network marketing try and trick people into seeing the presentation. They resort to tactics like baiting and switching people into thinking they are there for something else and then the get forced into seeing a presentation.

This even happens to me after being in the industry for over 15 years. The other day I had someone book a coaching session with me and wanted to use their Zoom account instead, I thought that would be fine, but when I joined the call it was for a group business presentation.

This kind of tactic is incredibly scummy and you are going to rarely sign anyone up with it. In fact, you likely anger the person you tried to show your presentation and they will never do business with you ever again.

So if you want more signups for your network marketing business, invite like a professional and see if the prospect is interested and open to what you have first. Check out my Inviting Mastery Method training here to learn more about inviting effectively in network marketing.

Advantages of a 1-on-1 network marketing business presentation

The first kind of network marketing business presentation we’ll cover is the 1-on-1 presentation. This kind of business presentation you are meeting with a potential customer or business partner and you are by yourself. You could do this presentation with a video, a PowerPoint presentation, or even a Zoom presentation.

One of the big advantages of this style of presentation is that you can do it almost any time and in anyplace. You can even do this kind of presentation long-distance and not have to be directly with a prospect to share your business.

One major reason people’s businesses grow slowly is that they are waiting for others to do the presentation for them. Having another person do the presentation for you, in the beginning, can be helpful, but you shouldn’t rely on that forever.

This type of presentation is best used when you have some experience under your belt and can answer objections relatively well. At the same time, if you are new, or even a veteran, you should use a 3-way call to edify a business partner that is more experienced that can help you close.

Check out the video below for more details on how to edify an expert that can help you build your network marketing business through 1-on-1 presentations.

Disadvantages of a 1-on-1 network marketing presentation

Now a major disadvantage of a 1-on-1 network marketing business presentation is that you are lacking social proof. Social proof is when the person you are doing a sales presentation which can see others having results with your products or business.

You can share testimonials in a 1-on-1 presentation, but you are still just by yourself so the impact of it doesn’t work as well. A way around this to some degree is to use a 3-way call as mentioned above and that way the 3rd party can share their story and testimony. Following this strategy, you can build up some social proof, but it is still limited in a 1-on-1 setting.

Another way to improve your results despite this disadvantage is to use a 1-on-1 network marketing presentation as a stepping stone and first form of exposure. You can then invite your prospect to another exposure to a 2-on-1 with an expert, a group presentation, live event, or even a group Zoom call. All of these options can give your prospect a bigger picture and can help close the sale.

Unfortunately, another disadvantage of 1-on-1 presentations is the potential difficulty of creating duplication in your network marketing business. There are 3 questions that people need to be answered to get started in network marketing.

3 questions you must answer in your network marketing business presentation
  1. Is it real?
  2. Can I do this?
  3. Will you help me?

In a 1-on-1 business presentation, it’s hard to establish that it is real because it is just you sharing the information. This is especially true if you are presenting to cold market vs warm market. The question of “can I do this?” is also a challenge to answer with a 1-on-1 presentation because many people may not think they are public speakers or “salespeople”, and they won’t think they can duplicate a presentation on their own.

Also, if you do the presentation alone, without the help of a 3-way call, your prospect might think they are on their own as well when presenting the business. This makes them think you won’t be there to help them when they are building the business because no one is helping you.

Despite these disadvantages, 1-on-1 network marketing business presentations can still work, you just need a higher skill level to be able to handle objections. Also be sure to use a 3-way call, as this can help build social proof and can help to answer the 3 questions every prospect needs to feel are answered before they join.

Advantages of a 2-on-1 network marketing business presentation

A 2-on-1 network marketing business presentation has many of the advantages of a 1-on-1 presentation but also eliminates some of the disadvantages. One of the big advantages of a 2-on-1 business presentation is that your 3rd party expert is with you.

This means that they can help do the presentation itself, provide some social proof, help answer the 3 key questions, and can help you overcome objections and close. Also if you are just getting started in your network marketing business you probably aren’t very skilled yet and by working with an expert you can learn what to do and what not to do quickly.

A great way to speed up this duplication is by starting out with the expert doing the presentation and then you can quickly take on parts of the presentation yourself. Eventually, you can transition to doing more and more and on your own. Following this 2-on-1 strategy, you and your team members will start to become independent quickly.

There are 10 major skills of network marketing you need to master to become successful, and trying to learn them through trial and error will take forever. Instead, utilize your expert and they can make up for the skills you lack in the beginning.

A 2-on-1 presentation also lets you share another perspective beyond your own with your prospect. Not everyone is going to relate to your story and why you joined your business or love your products. However, they may relate to your expert and their story and may get started because of that.

Disadvantages of a 2-on-1 network marketing presentation

The disadvantage of doing 2-on-1 presentations in network marketing is that it some times allows people to use their expert as a crutch. A major goal in network marketing is to have a team of independent leaders that can build the business with or without you. Ideally, you want to help build your new team members to become independent as quickly as possible.

Using 2-on-1 presentations can help with this training process, but if you don’t ever let your new team members try 1-on-1 presentations or building the business without you, you will never duplicate.

A 2-on-1 presentation is also harder to coordinate for everyone involved. Not only do you and your prospect need to be free, so does your expert. This can limit how often you can show your business as it isn’t just dependent on your time and effort. This limits the power of the law of averages and how you can use it to grow your network marketing business.

You also may not have an expert to work with. Not everyone is blessed with an upline who knows what they are doing, and using an expert may not be an option. In that case, you are on your own with 1-on-1 presentations, so it’s a good idea to develop your own skills as quickly as possible.

To do this, be sure to attend as many network marketing training events as possible, and to spend a portion of each day on personal development.

Advantages of group presentations for network marketing

Group presentations or group Zoom presentations are another useful way to present your network marketing business. One major advantage of this method of presenting your network marketing business is that someone else is doing the presentation for you.

This means that similar to a 2-on-1 presentation, someone else who is more skilled can present and help you close your prospects. Another great advantage is that you have built-in social proof with this type of presentation.

Typically this group presentation for network marketing will feature other leaders having success and their testimonies. With this method of presenting it can build credibility and likely your prospect will relate to someone else and their story to build belief that they can become successful too.

Group presentations also work well to invite prospects to as a second exposure to your business. If you have been doing 1-on-1 presentations or 2-on-1 presentations and your prospect hasn’t joined yet, you can invite them to a group presentation to see a bigger picture.

Using this inviting strategy and group presentations as the next step and it can give your prospects another look at the business without having to beg them to join. You simply invite them to meet some other leaders to get their questions answered.

You can say something like, “Hey Tom, I know you still weren’t sure yet about getting started. However, why don’t you come with me tomorrow night to meet some of the other leaders in the organization? That way you can get all of your questions answered from the top people. Then at that point, if it is for you or not at least you’ll know you did your due diligence. What time should I pick you up?”

Disadvantages of group presentations for network marketing

While group presentations are effective and can work well as a second exposure, they do have some drawbacks as well. Typically group presentations don’t work as well for a cold market prospect. Often if you invited a complete stranger to a group presentation they might pre-judge your opportunity. They either won’t show up or they’ll think “it’s just another one of those things.”

Your goal in network marketing is to expose people who are interested and open to what you do with an official presentation. You don’t want to try and half explain it or trick people into seeing a presentation. Unfortunately, that’s often what people try and do with group presentations in network marketing.

Also, depending on the personality type of the person you are inviting, they might not really like group presentations. For example, I’m more on the introverted end of the spectrum.  So for me, parties with a bunch of new people, aren’t necessarily something I’m excited about.

If you were inviting someone with a similar personality, they may not want to check out your business if it is a group presentation. They may even say they will meet you there but never show up. For introverts or those, you don’t know that well, you are much better off doing a 1-on-1 presentation.

Another disadvantage is that the presentation won’t be as personalized as if it was a 2-on-1 or a 1-on-1 presentation. When you are sharing your business with just one person you can customize it to their interests and needs. Doing this can result in a higher closing ratio for your network marketing presentation.

Invite to recruit vs recruit to invite

Another concept to understand is inviting to recruit vs recruiting to invite. They sound similar, but how and why you invite people to see your network marketing presentation can have a major impact on the growth of your business.

Inviting to recruit means is that you invite people to see your business only to recruit them. For example, you maybe have a group presentation with a leader coming up next week. Inviting to recruit means you wait to show anyone until that presentation. You invite dozens of prospects to that single presentation in hopes that the expert will recruit them all.

Unfortunately, this inviting to recruit mentality can lead to the death of your business. What happens when all of the people you invite cancel or some cancel and the ones that show say no? Your business comes to a standstill until the next group presentation happens to take place.

A better method is recruiting to invite. Instead of waiting around until a group presentation, do 2-on-1 and 1-on-1 presentations leading up to the group presentation. Then as you are building up to the group presentation you may have recruited 2 or 3 people. Now it’s not just you inviting to the group presentation, it’s a team of people inviting. This can lead to much faster growth in your network marketing business.

Also, understand people join people and leaders…not necessarily a business

We have all seen it before right? The business that has weird products, a garbage compensation plan, but somehow they are growing like crazy?

It takes more than the best products or compensation plan to build a network marketing business. It’s more so about the people who are sharing it.

Obviously I don’t recommend partnering up with a shady or company with poor products. However, if you build through warm market and credibility between prospects and presenters, you can grow quickly regardless of the products and compensation.

The take away is that you need to be constantly working on you to become a better leader. Spend time increasing your credibility and influence with your network. Success in network marketing is a numbers game. However, the better your skills are, the fewer numbers you need to go through.

If you have developed yourself into the leader people want to follow, you’ll get better results. When you become the right person it doesn’t matter as much what network marketing presentation you use.

Again it’s more so going to be about the influence and credibility of who is presenting or sharing the opportunity. If you don’t feel like you have a big influence in your network you can also build your business online. By building an online following it can help you establish leadership and credibility outside of your network.

Doing this will start to attract more people to your businessIf you want to learn more about setting up an attraction marketing lead generation system for your business check out this free training.

Conclusion

Overall, it’s not always the best presentation that leads to a signup in your business. Each kind of network marketing business presentation can work when you go through the numbers.

However, if you want to improve your success in network marketing you need to become the leader others want to work with. Inviting professionally based on your prospect’s needs and wants will improve your results as well.

Sharing your business with any kind of presentation will have its own unique advantages and disadvantages. Keep consistent and share your business presentation on a regular basis. When you use the tools and systems that are proven, you can almost guarantee your success over the long-term.

No one presentation is perfect, but understanding each kind of presentation’s strengths and weaknesses can help you get the best results when you present your business. Top earners in network marketing have laid the path to success. You simply need to match and model their process and you can create similar results in your network marketing business.
